Explanation: The following map is used by foot patrol, who will be heard on-air as Patrol 8xx (Where xx is the map location) and traffic police Patrol 3xx (where xx is the map location) within the Central Business District on UHF Channel 26 [468.4750MHz] (This “points map” is only used on by officers on UHF Ch 26. The Control Centre for this channel is not at the VPC, but at Flinders St Station and is a non-voting, single channel system.

Patrol units on point duty identify as Melbourne 9xx (where xx is the map location)

An officer at the corner of Bourke & Spencer will identify on-air as Melbourne 937 (Point Duty Officers ie Traffic Directing)

Patrol 337 (Panel Van at same location)

Patrol 837 (General Duties foot patrol at same)
