When monitoring the Army, tactical callsigns are combinations of letters and numbers, or words. "Whiskey 7 Xray" or "Mike Bravo 4"  are examples of Army callsigns. Identification of callsigns beyond these lists is virtually impossible, unless you are actually watching the stations transmitting and can tag the callsigns to an individual, vehicle etc.
