MFESB Command also own several late model Falcons and Commodores which are fitted with MFESB radio and Emergency Light Bars etc. These vechiles are mostly driven by Command and Executive officers.
Note also the MFESB still have some Mark I and Mark II Pumpers in service, and some are kept and maintained as back-up vehicles should another appliance require servicing etc.
Some of the really old appliances, like one of the MFESB’s 1960s hose layer is not mentioned in the above appliance table. Most of the appliances listed hereafter are the modern appliances used by the MFESB. I have tried to include all appliances ever used by the MFESB, from the horse-drawn days to present, so if anybody has further to add, an email to ageelan@bigpond.com would be much appreciated.
