Notes:
1.
All of these transmissions are in Upper Side Band (USB)
and can be heard easily right across Australia during the fire season. So you
will need a shortwave, lo-band receiver or a scanner that goes down to 1MHz in
at least 1KHz steps.
2.
If a fire is in a state park or other NRE area, then the CFA
will use the NRE radio network, as it is “their” fire-the primary responders. If the fire is in a CFA
area then the NRE will use the CFA radio network.
