CFA Fire Stations Currently Under Consideration/Review for full-time firefighters include Greenvale, Craigeburn, Diamond Creek.

Notes:

1. Paid CFA staff fire fighters follow the same shift pattern as MFESB fire fighters.

2. The CFA Paid ranks have different names, but are equal to MFESB ranks. I.e. A Station Officer (MFESB) is equal to a CFA Fire Officer.

3. Some stations will have several paid fire fighters (eg Dandenong, Doveton, Geelong & Ballarat), whereas some may be provided only with a “daytime” fire fighter, usually between the hours of 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, in populated areas where less volunteers are available during the working day, as is the case at Eltham, who have 1 Fire Officer on duty 24/7 as per the MFESB shift calendar, as well as a daytime fire fighter who works at Eltham from 8-6 Monday to Friday.
