1.         VL7UFB is the official callsign for Urban brigades and VL7CFB for Country (Rural) Brigades, however the callsign all Tasmanian Fire Service base radio’s is FireComm.

2.         TFS use Phillips PRM 80-40and TAIT 2020 mobile radios and Phillips PRP 80 handhelds.

3.         All the other TFS frequencies (point-to-point links, microwave etc-not generally scanned)
