Australian Capital Territory Bushfire Service
Overview
The
Bushfire Act, 1936, establishes the Bushfire Service. It is primarily
responsible for the suppression of wildfires. As with the ACT Fire Brigade, the
Bushfire Service is administered by the ACT
Emergency Services Bureau (ESB, who are also responsible for the ACT
Ambulance and ACT Emergency Service[1]).
The brigades within the ACT Bushfire Service are:

are joint Bushfire Brigades and ACT Emergency Service
Brigades, meaning the Bushfire Service shares its station with the ACT
Emergency Service.
